Connecting to WiFi - Windows 7 and Windows 8

Logging into JewellSecure wireless on Windows 7 and Windows 8

Open Network and Sharing Center

Click on “Setup an new connection or network”.


Click on “Manually connect to a wireless network” and click next.                     

 In the Network name enter :  “JewellSecure”

Security type:  “WPA2-Enterprise

Encryption type:  AES

Security Key:  “this is BLANK”

Ensure “start this connection automatically” is checked and nothing else is checked. 

Hit next. Click on “Change Connection Settings” 

Click the “Security Tab” at the top                                                                                                                                                               

On the security tab click the “Settings Button”                                                                                                                                   

Uncheck “Validate server certificate” and then click on the “Configure” tab near the bottom.                                                       

Uncheck “Automatically use my Windows logon name and password(and domain if any)”.                                             

Click on the “Advanced Settings” button                                                                                                                                                    

Click the box next to “Specify authentication mode” and then select “user authentication”.  Next hit "Save Credentials" and type in your Jewell username and password.  


Hit "OK" to save your credentials, then hit "OK until you have close every screen. By this time you should be connected.
